Eamonn McCarney stepped between the posts for the Briar against West African's United this past weekend. In between sunning himself, he contributed with two booming assists, one in each half. The first from a kick out which was finished off by Lassana Sanha, and the second from a quick free kick which caught the WAU defense napping. Eamonn 'Java' Kearney latched onto that pass, beautifully lobbing the keeper for a classy winner. Brian McGuinness scored a penalty inbetween those efforts following good work down the left by Michael Hardy, who clipped a ball into the area which resulted in a hand ball.
